Welcome to Nursery
Our 26 place nursery provides an exciting, high quality Early Years learning experience, which will get your child off to a great start to their education.
Our nursery offers a caring and nurturing environment, with an experienced Early Years Teacher and a Teaching Assistant, who share over 30 years experience.
Free Childcare
We can provide 15 hours childcare per week, 3 hours a day over 5 mornings a week (universal 15 hour entitlement) from 8:45am-11:45am, or 5 whole days (extended 30 hour entitlement depending on eligibility) 8:45am to 2:45pm. An additional half hour at the end of the day can be purchased for £2.50 to finish at 3:15pm in line with the rest of school. A school meal can be provided for children accessing 30 hours entitlement at the cost of £3.25 a day.
Children can be admitted after their 3rd birthday, but universal funding is only available from the start of the term following the child's 3rd birthday. If you wish your child to start before their funding begins, you may have the option of paying for nursery at the cost of £5 per hour or if there are places available and you meet government eligibility criteria for 2 year old funding your child may also be able to start early. Paying for additional hours is also an option for parents of children who only qualify for 15 hours funded and who want their child to attend nursery for longer. Please see our Nursery Admissions Policy
Please call 01246 274370 to arrange a visit and to meet our Nursery Teacher, Mrs Maydew and our teaching assistant Mrs Baumforth or alternatively please complete the enquiry form below.

Mrs Maydew and Mrs Carr, together with our teaching assistant Mrs Baumforth, are delighted to welcome you to Nursery.
We enjoy lots of learning through play indoors, but we also spend plenty of time exploring our outdoor area. Having wellies in school means you can join in whatever the weather brings.
Every child has a Busy Book in Nursery. This is a special place for you to share news, celebrations, and achievements from home, which we can enjoy together in class. Each week, we will also send home information about our key learning. Please bring your Busy Book to school regularly so we can add this in.
