Welcome to Class 4!
Class Teachers: Miss Wood and Miss Carr.
Teaching Assistant: Miss Meaden.
Useful information:
- Children are asked to complete their homework weekly in exchange for prizes, this includes completing SoundChecks on TT Rockstars and homework on Mathletics.
- Each Friday children are given new spellings to practise, the following Friday they will be tested on their words.
- PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays, however sporting events can happen throughout the week so it is important to have PE kits in school each day.
- At the end of Year 4, on 1st June, all children across the country have to take a national Times Table Check, this is to see whether children in Year 4 can fluently recall their multiplication tables. It is really important children practise these Times Tables at home as much as possible to prepare for the check.
